On the way to the Orchard House, we stopped at SLEEPY HOLLOW CEMETERY and visited AUTHOR'S RIDGE. Here, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott and Henry David Thoreau are all buried. It was really amazing to see all these influential figures in one place. Nathaniel Hawthorne's headstone looked SO appropo with old red roses laid out across its base.
